口說——我們以一道討論題進一步談論該練習卷的主題。

Summary:
Homework review - we began by looking through the IELTS reading test material given to the student last week. This involved an article about various species of wales and dolphins and included a range of scientific vocabulary. The questions were checked through and any necessary corrections were discussed. We spoke more about the IELTS reading test requirements.
Reading - we then moved on to a new reading material, the topic was about unusual foods from around the world. Any new vocabulary was highlighted and explained. We then read through the article together. Comprehension questions were answered by the student to test understanding of the article. A vocabulary exercise was also done, using a selection of words from the reading and fitting them into sentences appropriately.
Speaking - we used a discussion question to speak more about the topic of the worksheet.
Homework prep - we prepared for the homework task by looking at an IELTS writing exercise, involving writing a descriptive passage about charts and data.
Homework: complete the IELTS Part 1 writing task.
